Holiday Outreach 2025
Northborough Community comes together to Make Spirits Bright!
On the Sunday morning before Thanksgiving we made our final preparations for the annual Holiday Outreach event. Watching this day unfold is a reminder of what makes our town special. Our residents walk away with more than food — they walk away with hope, support, and the warmth of a caring community.
Each of the 145 households that came through the door received a Thanksgiving meal and grocery gift cards. The 72 Senior/Adult residents received personal care packages and a pointsettia plant. The 73 families (representing 152 children) received store cards to make their children's holiday wishes come true.
Providing warm winter coats for children is also part of the NHHA mission. Thanks to many generous donors, 124 coats were distributed just in time for the December snow! Dozens of lovely hand knit hats were made available by a talented elf too.

We start the day with an early morning turkey call. Juniper Hill Golf Course donates the turkeys for our families, no matter the number, year after year.
The Northborough Lion's Club bring turkeys for our Seniors. The GFWC Northboro Junior Woman's Club makes sure we have enough stuffing.
The Church of the Nativity always delivers the carrots (and volunteers). Thanks to the Rotary Club for bringing the dinner rolls!
The Northborough Mom's Group needs a few helping hands to bring in the load of potatoes.
Thanks to Andrew Abu Realty for bringing the gravy. We are happy to have MetroWest Painting join us this year! Thanks for the veggies.
We appreciate each of our annual contributors! The Wittman Family donates celery, Craftworks collects cranberry sauce and Davidian's Farm donates the beautiful apples.
We needed more pies than ever this year! Thanks to Stop and Shop, The Jarboe Foundation and the Seppa Family for making sure everyone had dessert.
We are grateful to Yellick's Farm for the poinsettias and the Northborough Patrolman's Association for sponsoring our senior gift bags. Thanks to the team at Abu Realty for assembling the personal care potholders. These little extras bring big smiles to our Seniors.
We are ready to spread some holiday cheer!
Thank you to all who sponsored a new coat or made a donation to provide grocery and retail gift cards.
It takes a village to provide the food, coats and gifts each year. We are are a lucky band of elves to see the the generous spirit of this town in acton.
Our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the Holiday Outreach Program. Your gifts, large and small, make a huge impact on our neighbors in need. Churches, schools, businesses, community groups, golfers and many, many individuals come together each to lend a helping hand.
Thank you for Making Spirits Bright in our town!
