Holiday Outreach 2022

Making Spirits Bright in November!

On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, NHHA was able to provide 72 families and 54 senior/adult households from Northborough a turkey and a shopping bag of "the fixings", plus, gift cards for all. It is through the generosity of individuals, businesses, community groups and local churches, who lend a hand year after year, that allows us to care for our neighbors in need.

On Friday afternoon we picked up 70 turkeys from Juniper Hill Golf Course thanks to their 24th annual Turkey Day donations.

Employees from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Sara Lee stopped by the Senior Center to drop off over 200 pies!

On Sunday morning turkeys and fixings for our Seniors are dropped off by St. Bernadette School. Yes, more turkeys arrive thanks to the Lions Club!

Thank you to Northborough Moms for the potatoes.

More fixings come from the Church of Nativity, the Northborough Junior Women's Club, The Northborough Rotary Club, St. Mark's Youth Group and the Wittman Family .

The morning crew filled 130 bags with all the fixings! Thank you Craftworks and Central One Federal Credit Union for lending a helping hand.

The afternoon crew is ready to distribute.

Check in time!

Poinsettias donated by Yellicks Farm for our Seniors and First Aid kits thanks to the Northborough Police Association.

The pies, fixings and turkey stations ready to go!

ARHS Student Council, your gift card effort was amazing! To all of our donors, please know that 156 children in Northborough received holiday gift cards and each of the 126 households we served received grocery gift cards thanks to your generosity.

Special thanks to St. Bernadette School and Parish, Church of Nativity, Trinity Church, St. Rose of Lima Parish, Northborough Lions Club, Northborough Mom’s, Northborough Junior Woman's Club, Northborough Rotary, the Northborough Police Association, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Sara Lee, Juniper Hill Golf Course, Yellicks Farm, The Wittman Family, St. Mark's Youth Group, Walmart, Stop and Shop Westborough, ARHS Student Council, Aero Coffee, Mooya and to our many individual donors!

We are grateful to partner with the Northborough Food Pantry, Northborough Family and Youth Services, our schools and the Northborough Senior Center.

To all who contributed towards this day, those known and those who chose to be anonymous, we offer our heartfelt thanks for Making Spirits Bright in our town!
